Brenda Davis
Brenda Davis, the coordinator of Institutional Relations, has been named the 2012 MGCCC AEOP Administrator of the Year. Davis, who has worked in her current position for three years, was previously the coordinator of Workforce Development and Continuing Education and the Athletic advisor for students. She held those positions for five years.
Davis graduated with a B.S. and M.S. in Counseling from the University of West Alabama. The wife of MGCCC Coach Steve Davis, she said she has only missed four football games in the 30 years her husband has been a coach. The couple has one daughter, Whitney, and three grandchildren.
She currently serves as a state council member for the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) and is a member of the College Public Relations Association of Mississippi (CPRAM), Women in Higher Education, Mississippi Association of Colleges and the American Football Coaches Wives Association. She is also a graduate of the MGCCC Leadership Development Program.
