Earline (Croncich) Sawyer, a Gulf Coast native and MGCCC alumna, is the newest member appointed to the Foundation Board of Trustees.
Sawyer, who graduated from the Jefferson Davis Campus inaugural class of 1965-66, is a longtime advocate of the community college system in Mississippi and of MGCCC in particular.
A native of “The Point” in Biloxi, Sawyer is married to Lenny Sawyer Jr., an MGCCC alumnus, and is the broker of record and office manager at Sawyer Real Estate, where she has worked for 26 years. The Sawyers have lived in Long Beach for more than 35 years. They have two children, Sandi Dulaney, an MGCCC alumna, and Lenwood S. Sawyer III. They have seven grandsons – Mac, Anderson and Jackson (twins), Luke and Nick (twins), Stokley, and Henry.
