UTICA -For Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, a streak continued and one was broken at Hinds on January 28. The Lady Bulldogs swamped Hinds 75-43 to extend their winning streak to eight, while the Bulldogs snapped a four-game losing skid with a 67-47 win over Hinds.
The MGCCC men (12-5, 3-3) were led by Stacey Caroway and JaMichael Hawkins, who each had 15 points, while Giancarlo Santiago had 13 points and 11 rebounds.
The Lady Bulldogs (14-3, 5-1) were led by Yasmine Nelson with 19 points, while Shameika Hart had 13, Brittany Jones had 12, and reigning MACJC Player of the Week Markia Nix added 11.
