Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College will hold Know Your Numbers health fairs on its three campuses in April to promote a healthy learning environment at the college. The health fairs will be held on April 16 at the Jefferson Davis Campus and April 17 at the Jackson County Campus. A health fair was held in March at the George County Center and on April 3 at the Perkinston Campus.
The health fairs, which are free and open to the public, are part of the college’s Health and Wellness Initiative. Students, faculty and staff in MGCCC’s Nursing and Allied Health Division will offer blood pressure, height, weight and BMI screenings, blood glucose measurements, nutrition tips, stress management, and other health care education topics. Employees, students and their families are encouraged to attend.
