Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College fell behind 6-1 in game two with East Central and eventually had to settle for a 10-2, 7-3 doubleheader split April 13 in Decatur for an MACJC South Division doubleheader.

The Lady Bulldogs (26-7, 15-3) took game one 10-2 thanks to solo homeruns from Morgan Fairley and Dani Craft, a two run shot by Emily Davis, and a three-run homer by Reina Baluja. Davis, Fairley, Craft, and Cat Campbell all had two hits in the victory while Baluja went the distance in the circle for the win.

In the nightcap, the Lady Warriors scored six runs in the bottom of the first and went on to win 7-3. The Gulf Coast offense was held to four hits in the loss.

MGCCC began its MACJC South Division schedule with a 2-1, 18-2 doubleheader split at Co-Lin on April 9.
