Men’s tennis remains undefeated

The perfect season continues for the No. 17 MGCCC men’s tennis team as the Bulldogs shut out Jones 9-0 on March 5 in Ellisville.

MGCCC (11-0) was lead by Alex Puyol as he dismantled Josh Lomas 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1 singles play.  Sean Robinson also cruised in straight sets over Tanner Chamblee 6-3, 6-1 as did Lachlan Puyol, who blew past Ryan Young 6-0, 6-1. Nick Georgian, Travis Burdick and Grant Bell were the other singles winners for the Bulldogs.

In No. 1 doubles, Alex Puyol and Sean Robinson teamed up to defeat Lomas/Chamblee 8-2 while at No. 2 doubles, L. Puyol/Georgian blanked

Young/Thomas 8-0.  MGCCC’s Bell/Burdick also took a doubles win over Jones/Bird 8-4.

MGCCC’s women’s team (5-6) dropped a 9-0 decision to Jones.
