MGCCC’S Presley Owens (#14) is an NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American.
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College sophomore Presley Owens is part of the NJCAA’S 2012-13 list of Honorable Mention All-Americans. Owens, a forward from Vancleave, averaged 12.5 points per game and shot 70 percent from the free throw line as the Lady Bulldogs went 18-7 and advanced to the Region 23 semi-finals. She was also named to the All-Region 23 Tournament team as well as the All-MACJC Second Team. Off the court, Owens maintains a 4.0 grade-point-average. Owens is undecided on which four-year college she plans to attend but plans to make a choice when the signing period opens Apr. 17.
