MGCCC’S Markia Nix (#25) and Presley Owens (#14) are 2 of MGCCC’S 18 2012-13 NJCAA Academic All-Americans.
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College athletics had another banner season on the field in 2012-13. Off the field, numerous Bulldog student athletes also turned in exemplary performances worthy of praise from the NJCAA. Five Bulldog teams garnered NJCAA All-Academic Team honors while 18 Gulf Coast athletes are 2012-13 Athletes of Distinction.
