The ceremony was held in conjunction with the chapter meeting of the newly established Gulf Coast Chapter of SOLE. More than 50 people were in attendance during the chapter meeting.

John O’Hara, Logistics Technology instructor at MGCCC, said, “This newest group of qualified logistics professionals proved themselves ready for immediate employment in any of the business, industrial or acquisition logistics disciplines. Logistics jobs are expect to grow by 20 percent by the end of 2014. Look for them to be leading the way into the future.”

The Logistics Technology program at MGCCC is designed to prepare individuals to manage and coordinate the procurement, distribution, maintenance, and replacement of material and personnel. Logistical functions in any business or military/industrial complex organization range from the acquisition of material at the beginning of the supply chain to the end product or service being delivered to the ultimate customer at the end of the supply chain.
