MGCCC men stop Baton Rouge, Lady Bulldogs fall to LSU-E

Three Mississippi Gulf Coast players scored in double figures as the Bulldogs (4-1) took care of Baton Rouge Community College 67-61 Nov. 13 in Baton Rouge.. Rashad Perkins led the Bulldogs with 17 points while Roger Woods had 12 and Chris Bilbo added 10. The men will ride a three-game winning streak into the Gulf Coast Classic Nov. 25-26 in Perkinston. The Bulldogs will take on Baton Rouge again Nov. 25 and Southern U-Shreveport on Nov. 26.

Meanwhile the Lady Bulldogs (2-2) fell 66-61 to LSU-Eunice on Nov. 13. DeNesha Dillard led Gulf Coast with 18 points while Samara Dingiswayo added 15. The Lady Bulldogs travel to Baton Rouge on Nov. 18.
