MGCCC women’s tennis players Christa Owen and Kit Chowdhary made a strong showing at the recent ITA Small College Championships in Fort Myers, Fla. on Oct. 10-13. Owen, a freshman from Wiggins, finished sixth in singles and then teamed with Chowdhary, a sophomore from St. Martin, to finish eighth in doubles.
Owen qualified for the event after winning the ITA regional championship in September, while she and Chowdhary made the trip after reaching the ITA regional finals in September.
