- The JD Fine Arts Department invites you to experience the current gallery exhibit, Scenes of a Scene, by Pascagoula artist, Robby Amonette. The exhibit includes several large scale finished paintings, but the show is predominately made up of “action painting” which may be thought of as “sketches in paint”. The artist’s subject matter is primarily live musical performances, which are quickly rendered in oil or acrylic. Amonette paints from life and this often takes him anywhere from local musical venues to the Delta and beyond. The exhibit will run through October 18.
