Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College celebrated the first home game of the 2012 football season with the Bulldog Tailgate on Sept. 13 at the Perkinston Campus. Almost 400 college employees, alumni and invited guests attended the event (formerly known as the Backyard Barbecue) before the game against the Hinds Community College Eagles.

The college’s Jazz Band provided the entertainment, playing theme songs from popular television shows.  After a meal of traditional tailgate fare that included hamburgers and chips, the Bulldog cheerleaders led a cheer.  Dr. Mary S. Graham, Ladd Taylor and Dr. Jay Allen all encouraged the group to attend the game at A.L. May Memorial Stadium following the event.
